
David McKalip, M.D. is
the Founder of Doctors for Patient Freedom, the AMA Take Back the
Profession Advisory Group (TBPAG) and recently elected board member of
the Florida Medical Association. He is heading an FMA effort to create
a new Florida Health System Model. Dr. McKalip is the Vice-President
Elect of the Pinellas County Medical Association, President-elect of
the Florida Neurosurgical Society, and member of the Florida Medical
Association PAC board. He has been an AMA Alternate Delegate
since
2005 and represented Neurosurgery at the Ambulatory Quality Alliance
where he was able to ensure that the AQA developed a more transparent
due process for decision making. He is also the author of the
policy
implemented at the AMA to ensure it “actively opposes” Pay for
Performance plans that don’t comply with AMA policy and the author of a
key white paper that helped win the debate soon to be submitted to JAMA
entitled “Pay for Performance: the Risks to Patients Outweighs the
Benefits”. Dr.
McKalip is the Founder and Chair of Cut Taxes Now and Co-Founder and
Spokesperson of the Florida Taxpayers Alliance, grassroots
organizations in Florida that allowed citizens to insist on and receive
3-9% property tax cuts in Florida in 2007. Dr. McKalip is a practicing
Neurosurgeon in St. Petersburg Florida.

Richard B. Warner, M.D., is a psychiatrist in private practice
in Overland Park, Kansas. He is the Immediate Past
President of the Kansas Medical Society. He
represents the Kansas Medical Society as an Alternate Delegate to the
American Medical Association. He
serves on the Board of Directors of KaMMCO, the Kansas Medical Mutual
Insurance Company. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the
Kansas Health Insurance Association, which administers the high-risk
pool for the State of Kansas. Dr.
Warner has a very strong interest in the issues of health insurance
reform, medical inflation, preserving the patient-physician
relationship, and encouraging individual responsibility, freedom of
choice, and privacy in medicine. He has written and
spoken extensively on these subjects.

Marcy Zwelling-Aamot, M.D. the
entrepreneur and founder of Choice Care™, is known for her passion and
keen insight. She started her retainer practice just a year ago and is
already engaged in educating other physicians in "how to" meet patient
needs as a first priority in this financially driven healthcare market
place. Dr. "Z" is the past president of the Los Angeles Medical
Association and is currently a trustee of the CMA. She has lectured all
over the United States on topics ranging from health care financing and
politics to DRG management in the hospital setting. Her audiences
include patients, health care providers, administrators, politicians,
and the public at large. She has been published in many major
publications including the Los Angeles Times, Long Beach Press
Telegram, "10… things" by Larry Elder, Long Beach Business Journal,
Southern Ca. Physician, New England Journal of Medicine, and Wall
Street Journal.
